Deborah: Thanks for the note. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. My bad. Answer a couple of questions for me, please. First, what were your stats as a junior? Second, what is your GPA? Third, what did you score on the SAT or ACT? With that info, I can give you some advice, or at least we'll have a place to start. Thanks. Alan Parham, NSR

It depends on the extent you, the parent, want to expose your child. We have different programs to fit different needs and aspirations. We are not an online-only scouting service. We have trained, professional scouts whose job is to first determine if the prospect is a viable college prospect. Ideally, we do this by evaluating your child in person at a game, match or other event. Once we see that your kid has what it takes athletically to participate at the next level, we set up an interview with your child and you (his or her parents). In this session, we attempt to discover your child's aspirations and goals, athletically and academically. Additionally, we provide you with basic and pertinent NCAA recruiting rules as well as a more detailed description of how the process works. This all leads us to a point which allows us to see where your child is in the process versus where he or she should be at this point. We do not accept every student-athlete into our programs. With a 90+% success rate, we know what college coaches are searching for in prospects, so anyone who falls short of that criteria is not asked to come aboard. If he meets our qualifications, we then discuss how we can best meet the prospect's and family's goals. We work hand-in-hand to accomplish those goals from the time a family enrolls a child until graduation. To find the scout nearest you, click on Locations on our Web site. The map will lead you to a scout who can help you take the next step. Thank you.
